Ways to give:

Leave a bequest

Providing for the GREY2K USA Education Fund in your will is a “greyt” way to support greyhound advocacy. Here is our identification information:

GREY2K USA Education Fund
P.O. Box 122
7 Central Street
Arlington, MA 02476
781-488-3526
EIN. No. 04-3553133

Because the laws governing wills and bequests may vary from state to state, we strongly recommend that you consult with independent legal counsel. Simply ask your attorney to include a bequest to the GREY2K USA Education Fund in your current will or trust. You may also instruct counsel to add a codicil (addendum) that inserts new provisions into an existing testamentary document.

Add a beneficiary to your retirement plan

By naming the GREY2K USA Education Fund a beneficiary of your IRA, 401k, 403b, pension, or other retirement plan(s), you can make a significant charitable gift while leaving other assets to your heirs. Many plans simply require you to fill out a form listing the GREY2K USA Education Fund as a beneficiary. Please check with your plan administrator or financial advisor for the best way to add or change beneficiaries of each plan. And if you are 70.5 years or older, consider making a tax free Qualified Charitable Distribution through your IRA.

Make a gift of stock

When you choose to make a gift of appreciated stocks, bonds, mutual funds or exchange traded funds, you avoid high federal and state capital gains taxes and also receive a tax deduction for the full value of transferred assets! Particularly given proposed changes to tax law, this is a great time to help the greyhounds while reducing your tax burden on investment income by as much as 70%. If you would like to take advantage of this smart wealth management tool, please email christine@grey2kusaedu.org for our brokerage information.

Give an outright gift

Every dollar donated helps us to sponsor greyhounds as they leave closing dog tracks and to educate the public about the cruelty of dog racing. Thank you for caring about the greyhounds!
